NUMBERCheck - Interfaces: Integration into a flat detection system
NUMBERCheck - Rail Gate offers interfaces to other measuring systems for rail and freight traffic. Our system can also be connected to a flat detection system (FOA) of various manufacturers. Wheel flats are caused by blocked wheels, causing noise and damage to rails and track beds.

It is extremely important for both the infrastructure manager and the railway undertaking to recognise flat spots in good time in order to avoid major damage or even accidents due to derailment.
NUMBERCheck detects wagons with flats while passing through a video gate. The dynamic forces, length of the flat section, wheel weights and of course the associated wagon number are recorded and transmitted to the customer together.
Flat spot detection systems, for example, have fibre-optic sensors which are inserted between the rail and the track sleepers.
The data, such as wheel weights with flat points in force and length, are analysed directly on site, assigned to the corresponding wagon numbers and transmitted to the ASE server.
This means that the customer can immediately identify the wagons with flat points on the basis of all the train data recorded and carry out the corresponding repair and maintenance work.
